We want to ensure you have the very best chance of securing a job or apprenticeship. That’s why we will spend time with you to get you ready to ace those interviews.

Depending on your current experience, we will advise you which of our Route to Employment courses you will go on. They range from 2 to 22 weeks.

When:

3 days per week (up to 5 days when on work placement)

Duration:

Up to 12 – 22 weeks (depending on your needs) including minimum 2 weeks work placement

Achievement:

Up to level 2 Functional Skills in English and/or maths
Employability and digital skills
City Gateway ‘work ready’ certified

Support:

Part of City Gateway Talent Pool and Job Club.
Access to interviews

Future:

Secured paid job or apprenticeship

Whichever Route to Employment course is right for you, you will be supported throughout by our coaching team. Their sole aim is to help you achieve your potential, whether that’s by giving you personal support, coaching you through your interviews, or checking in on how you’re getting on once you’ve secured your job or apprenticeship. You may be eligible for financial support to help cover costs for travel, food, interview clothes, data/IT, housing/accommodation, personal hygiene, emergency funding and childcare. You can speak to a member of staff about this as part of your enrolment so we can get support set up as soon as possible for you.

Did you know your learning experience can be personalised to your way of thinking?
