Young people aged 16-18 (up to 25 with an EHCP)

Our Route to Employment course is designed to give young people aged 16-18 all the skills, qualifications and experience they need to progress into a job, apprenticeship or further training. It covers three main areas:

    • Training. Giving them the sector specific skills they need to stand out to an employer – from the first impression given by their CV and cover letter through to what to wear at interview and how they will be expected to behave in a work environment.
    • Experience. Through our partnerships with employers, they will have the opportunity to go on employer visits, attend workshops, gain experience within an employer’s workplace and even have their own dedicated mentor to support them every step of the way.
    • Qualifications. They can achieve a vocational qualification in Business Administration, IT or work readiness. If they don’t have their maths and English qualifications, we can help them get these through our functional skills or GCSE retake course. If they already have their maths and English we will support them to further develop their skills in these areas tailored to their choice of vocational course such as Business Administration or IT.

Young people aged 19+

For young people aged 19+, if they have their maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or above, they can apply for one of our apprenticeship vacancies in either Business Administration or IT.
