Job purpose:

To deliver an engaging and effective Outreach service for City Gateway to recruit our students against target and ensure a high quality experience from the moment they apply to the moment they start on course. To support the Outreach Manager in developing a great relationship with our referral partners.

Duties and responsibilities

– Support the Outreach & Marketing team with the administration required to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for everyone engaging with City Gateway through our team.
– Download and process all applications to our programmes from the website and ensure they are uploaded to the database.
– Call all eligible applicants with Welcome Calls within set timeframe.
– Deal with all potential learners in a professional and friendly manner whether on the phone, over email or in person
– Maintain the database and booking system efficiently.
– Produce reports for the Outreach Manager on the progress of applications.
– Be proactive in assisting the Outreach Manager to arrange the Introduction and Welcome events for students working with teams across the business e.g. ordering supplies, setting up the event, securing the appropriate staffing resource and ensuring attendee lists are produced.
– Arrange for all the student initial assessments to be completed and the results uploaded to the database.
– Generate emails for the students at each stage of the process and monitor the team inbox, responding to any enquires promptly with the information required.
– Support all teams with the onboarding of learners.
– Support the Outreach Manager in building relationships with referral partners attending events and meetings where necessary.
– Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Outreach Manager to support the Outreach & Marketing team.
