Absolutely, we are passionate about helping you make the most of opportunities and providing a gateway to the world of work.
At City Gateway, we want to help you get the skills and experience you need to help you into the career you want. We focus on three key areas:
Training. Giving you the sector specific skills you need to stand out to an employer – from the first impression given by your CV and cover letter through to what to wear at interview and how you will be expected to behave in a work environment.
Experience. Through our partnerships with employers, you will have the opportunity to go on employer visits, attend workshops, gain experience within an employer’s workplace and even have your own dedicated mentor to support you every step of the way.
Qualifications. You can achieve a vocational qualification in Business Administration, IT or work readiness. If you don’t have your maths and English, we can help you get them through our functional skills or GCSE retake course. If you already have your maths and English we will support you to further develop your skills in these areas specifically tailored to your choice of vocational course such as Business Administration or IT.
Our Route to Employment programmes is typically three days per week. Most apprenticeships are full time.
