There are a few things to be aware of when considering an apprenticeship through City Gateway.
Our apprenticeship vacancies could be anywhere across London but the off-the-job training will be in person at our purpose built learning hub in Tower hamlets – 3 minutes walk from East India DLR station.
Most apprenticeships are full time for 18 months so if you are already working you may need to leave your current role (depending on your hours) as you will need to be able to commit to your apprenticeship full time.
If you are 19+ you will need to have your maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or above to apply for one of our apprenticeship vacancies.
If you’re studying at university you wouldn’t be able to do an apprenticeship at the same time as the apprenticeships are full time for 18 months. It is also worth bearing in mind that our apprenticeship vacancies are at level 3 so may be too low level if you have a degree qualification (level 4).
