/ level 2 apprenticeship
If you are interested in working in the Early Years sector, then a Childcare level 2 apprenticeship will help you develop and demonstrate knowledge and competence to work with children aged 0-5.
You will work within a childcare setting to gain practical, hands-on experience, while also studying one day a week to gain your qualification.

We will also support you to get your English and maths qualifications (up to level 2 functional skills) if you need it.
Once on your apprenticeship, you will come into our learner hub one day a week (currently Friday) for your off-the-job training.
Duration: 12 months
/ level 3 apprenticeship
In order to become a fully qualified member of staff within a childcare setting you will need to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship and have a level 2 in maths and English (GCSE grade A-C or 9-4).
Once on your apprenticeship you will work with young children from birth up to 8 years of age. You will complete daily duties within the setting such as checklists and activities and you will be an important part of the team delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
You will have access to regular safeguarding, Prevent and health and safety training, adhering to government guidelines.

We will support you to get your English and maths (up to level 2 functional skills) if you need it. You will also gain a Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Once on your apprenticeship, you will come into our learner hub one day a month (currently Wednesday) for your off-the-job training.
Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship you will be recognised as an Early Years Educator and can progress onto further learning or gain new job opportunities within the sector. You will be able to support others and possibly become a mentor to other learners yourself.
Duration: 18 months (can be completed sooner) – then you enter the EPA process.
