Purpose of the job:

You would be responsible for assisting in meeting the apprenticeship and traineeship targets by engaging with employers to promote work placements, apprenticeship vacancies and starts.

Duties and responsibilities
• To target employers across London to develop new, repeat and lapsed business to secure work experience and/or Apprenticeship vacancies for our Traineeship and Apprenticeship learners.
• Target and build relationships with past customers or service users.
• Identify and source your own prospects across a territory or sector you are assigned utilising a combination of email, telephone and network marketing.
• Use and build upon the existing relationships that City Gateway has with strategic employers such as IBM.
• Project manage campaigns and lead generation.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure you are achieving daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s in order to be effective and proficient in achieving your overall target.
• Utilising candidates to “sell in” and engage with employers in order to build a working relationship.
• To work closely with the Account Manager and Employability & Apprenticeship Manager to ensure the quality of the service we offer employers..
• To ensure that all data requirements are maintained, records are up to date accurate and deadlines for returns are made, with assistance from the operations assistant.
• Ensuring that employers are compliant with SFA funding rules as well as assisting employers in the management of their digital Apprenticeship Service account.
• Arranging and delivering presentations to employers to identify the advantages of working with City Gateway.
• Carrying out employer satisfaction surveys when required.
• Contribution to the achievement of cross-sector and cross-charity targets.
