/ are there any considerations?

Many jobs and apprenticeships require you to have your English and maths grade 9-4 (A-C) or functional skills level 2. Don’t have them? No problem, we can help you get your functional skills level 2 through our Route to Employment course.

/ what is Route to Employment?

There are 3 main elements to our Route to Employment courses, all of them ensuring you are ready to, and successful in, securing a job or apprenticeship.

    • Training. Giving you the skills you need to stand out to an employer – from the first impression given by your CV and cover letter through to what to wear at interview and how you will be expected to behave in a work environment.
    • Experience. Nothing can better prepare you for the work environment than submerging yourself in it. Our short work placement will give you the opportunity to put your training to the test and experience the world of work first hand. Impress and you could be offered a job or apprenticeship off the back of your placement!
    • Qualifications. If you don’t have your maths and English, we can help you get them through our functional skills course. And to make sure you are completely equipped for employment, we will also ensure you have the necessary digital skills employers are looking for in the people they hire.

/ when can you start?

We have regular vacancies available for when you’re ready to start. The most important thing to do now is complete our application form so one of our team can give you a call to discuss the next steps in more detail. We will then be able to guide you to the relevant Route to Employment course, which in turn will lead to you attending those all important interviews and starting that exciting job or apprenticeship.

/ success stories

If you’re unsure what you want to do or where to start we can help with a bit of inspiration from two of our past trainees who has been in the same position as you.
