Schools Project
As well as connecting with young people who have left school our team has worked closely with 4 local schools to engage those who are starting to struggle in traditional education as an early intervention measure.

Young people received at least one accredited qualification
Weekly sessions spread over 3 months in basic skills, sports leadership and job preparation attracted 40 young people.
Our team partnered with 4 local schools (Stepney Green, George Green, Bishop Challoner and Sir John Cass), offering students in each a chance to explore subjects a little more varied and engaging than the traditional curriculum whilst still earning them valuable qualifications.

"A group of six students from the school attended a course with City Gateway earlier in the year. The course gave them the opportunity to achieve outside the school environment and had a really positive and beneficial effect on their attitude towards learning and working together as a team.
The students always spoke with enthusiasm about the subjects they were taking with City Gateway and the course allowed them to see themselves in a positive light."
