Come and support City Gateway at Gemserv's Battle of the Bands
Utility and environmental consultancy Gemserv’s search for the best musical talent has resulted in eight lucky bands making it through to the live stage of the industry’s only battle of the bands event.
Over 37,000 votes have been cast for RPI – X Factor 2011. The eight bands chosen will perform live at Cargo, London to a crowd of 350 for the chance to take their musical career to new heights. The winner will spend a full day at a recording studio.
Tickets are now on general release for the event which will be held on 22nd September, and can be acquired from the Gemserv and RPI – X Factor microsite. Those looking to attend the event will need to make a donation to one or both of the nominated charities, City Gateway and Tourettes Action, to receive tickets. Last year's event reached venue capacity, and with a record number of votes cast this year, all tickets are likely to be snapped up quickly.
RPI – X Factor 2010 raised over £9,000 for Gemserv’s nominated charities, and they're hoping to raise even more this year.

“It’s fantastic to see so many people getting behind the industry’s 2011 battle of the bands in support of two great charities: City Gateway and Tourettes Action. Let’s turn this support into donations to raise over £10k and make a real difference to the hundreds of people helped by these charities every year.”
