Engage Plus

ENGAGE PLUS is a trainee’s next step and allows them achieve a full level 1 qualification as well as continuing to build their basic skills and giving them taster sessions in ICT, multimedia and sports leadership.

We ran 4 Engage Plus courses in 2007 and each attracted a great mix of young people, including a higher intake of girls than ever which has helped develop the dynamic of the sessions we run and created a more positive environment for everyone involved.

It is always great to see the ways in which City Gateway has changed young people’s lives and helped individuals feel more confident, giving them the ability to shine through their time with us. One of our recent trainees Rubana told us how she has been to other training centres but none has engaged her in a positive way and built up her confidence like City Gateway has.
